Lovely stay at the annexe with all the kitchen equipment you should need, very clean and luxurious with the comfiest beds! Great to wake up to such a stunning view. Lots of information about things to do in Bath and the history of the property and surrounding area. A good supply of board games, great for covid times with less things to do out and about. We also loved having the wood burner to keep us cosy. Thank you!

Anna,

Lovely place. Would definitely recommend.

Ed (NZ),

Wonderful time in Bath
The Annex is really spacious and comfy. The views from the main road, outside terrace and all rooms area stunning! As it’s up the hill, you could see the river and picturesque landscape. Inside the house, all furniture, equipment and beds feel luxurious and super clean. The wood burner is amazing for a romantic night by the fire on a sofa. Highly recommended!

Alex ,

Clean, Spacious Victorian Annex situated in a fantastic location with beautiful views.
Fantastic location with beautiful views across the somerset countryside. Property was very clean, spacious and had all the amenities you could want / need when traveling. 5/10 minutes drive into City Center Bath, 5/10 minutes walk from The Boat House pub.

Jack ,

Beautiful Place

Adan,

A great escape
We loved everything about our stay. What a lovely find!! Very well equipped kitchen with very good quality hob, cooker and dishwasher. The beds are the most comfortable and softest I have slept in and the views are lovely. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming . Lots of info left for you to read. I would recommend to anyone.
There's nothing to not like

環境優美

Qingping Li , (CN),

was great recommend to anyone and easy to deal with the host!

Gareth,

Spacious, clean and comfortable. Quiet, but within easy each of city centre. Amazing views.

Adrian,

Location, cleanliness. Luxury accommodation.

Di,

Loved our stay here. Apartment is furnished to a high spec and the beds are so comfy. Very quiet overnight making it easy to sleep. It's on the main route into the city. We caught a bus from the stop a couple of minutes away and were in the city centre within 10 minutes. Plenty of room for 2 cars on the drive. Owners are lovely and our booking, key collection and stay went seamlessly. As we are fit and healthy, the spiral staircase noted by other visitors was easy for us to climb and descend and we found it quite charming. Other comments have been about the bathroom being a bit away from the bedrooms but to be honest both my friend and I preferred that when the other went to the loo, we didn't have to worry about being overheard!! This is a little gem of a place and we would definitely look to book it again in the future. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Audra,

Location & Greeting - all good

Xiaojun,

Excellent stay. Stunning location and very cosy annex. Would definitely recommend and will hopefully be returning.

Matt,

I can't fault the property. Its was spotlessly clean, well equipped and very comfortable.

Jenny C,

Fantastic views from the place. A bit challenging to find it and also found it a bit expensive, could be a bit more safety proofed, so if you have small children, I would think twice - but all in all, a really good place with fantastic views, very close drive to city center.

Ionut,

This is great place with loads of space.

Lawrence,

The house was absolutely beautiful, such a great atmosohere with the big T.V and the woodfire, excellent kitchen, lovely bedrooms. Gorgeous location near the river, quiet neighbourhood, stunning views from all around the house. Was such a lovely stay, and such good value for money. The owner was really accommodating and nice and easy to contact. Perfect ^_^

Aeryn Ivy,

Beds very comfortable. Linen, towels etc excellent quality, everything you need in the kitchen & gorgeous views.

Tracey,

As advertised and very groovy place. High End Television and Audio equipment

Nathan,

A luxurious stay in the beautiful Bath countryside. The annex is well presented, with excellent facilities and perks such as cinematic TV, underfloor heating, and a full kitchen. Nigel was a fantastic host, highly recommended.

Russ,

We had a fantastic stay at the Annex over New Years. It is a beautiful building that is well kept, clean and comfortable with everything you need. It has easy access into the city centre, there are nice pubs within walking distance and has lovely countryside views from the property. The owners are friendly and welcoming, quick to assist with any queries and respect your privacy. We would defiantly stay at the Annex for future visits to Bath.

Megan,

Great stay, good location for centre, lovely accommodation.

India,

A great accom option just outside of Bath. Easy and quick comms with the owners and the facilities were first grade. We’d stay there again in a flash!

Anonymous,

Beautiful Victorian annexe with amazing views. We had a very comfortable stay. Would highly recommend.

Polly Stewart & Family,

An amazing space to stay. Being a little further out it offers the calm of the countryside after a visit into the bustle of town. The place has everything you need and the bed gave me the best night's sleep I've had in a long time

Joe,

Wonderful space with nice touches

Mark,

Even has tea, coffee, washing up liquid, spices, many towels. Beds are AMAZING

Rebecca,

The rooms were excellent and very comfortable. The host was incredible helpful and friendly during our visit. Highly recommend this to anyone.

Xida,

From start to finish our stay was very enjoyable. We were made to feel very welcome by our hosts. Really beautiful annexe. Had everything we needed and more. Would definitely love to come back!

Gemma,

Would love to go back.
Very comfortable well appointed house.
Access to bathroom was a little strange.

Kate,

Great property, friendly owners and lovely sitting out area.
Slightly too far out from the centre of town.

Anonymous,

We have stayed before and like last time our stay was most enjoyable. Location is fantastic for a relaxed walk down to The Boathouse Pub, as long as you dont mind a slightly harder walk back up. Beautiful property with lots of character.

Lyndsey,

We arrived late and the house was unlocked with lights on for easy access, the house is really spacious and the 2 bedrooms were fantastic with fresh bedsheets, fluffy pillows and mattress super comfy, the view is great, the kitchen has everything you need. It was all new and clean. Communication with the host super smooth. The access to the bathroom on the other end of the annex down the stairs was a bit strange and not convenient for my parents who had to get up at night.
Would definitely recommend.

Lydia,

The annexe is beautiful, very spacious and perfectly clean! The view from the property is amazing, and taxis to and from Bath city centre were quick and cheap. Great place, definitely recommend and would stay again.

Leona,

Very clean and tidy. Bedrooms nice bed comfy
The entrance was very odd. To get to the front door we passed through a very narrow passage. Up stairs to bedrooms then down another flight of stairs to the bathroom. These stairs were very steep and not wide enough for your foot ,no rails.

Greg,

Business trip staying in a very nice house
Spacious house, with plent of room. Excellent views of the valley below. Very easy to drive in to Bath centre .Very quiet location. Quality white goods and furniture.
A microwave woud have been handy and then there is the bathroom. You have to go upstairs, along the landing, down the back stairs to get to the bathroom, but there is a door between the bathroom and living area, which can't be opened - odd.

Jon,

Very good pleasant place to stay strongly recommend
Everything is good

Siranush,

Lovely countryside escape!
Huge super king bed, wonderful views, hot shower, clean and tidy kitchen

Tom B,

Excellent place to relax and close to city centre of Bath and the hosts are very kind!
It’s a very peaceful area and the house is warm and confortable. The hosts are honestly very kind!

Mylène,

Perfect time away with friends!
Loved absolutely everything!

Jarrod,

Comfortable, clean and great location in Bath
Extremely warm, comfortable and clean. Great location for Bath, Bristol and surrounding countryside.

Anthony,

A fantasticly situated house near to Bath but with fabulous views. We received a great welcome and the house was clean and cosy. We loved it.

Joanne,

Beautiful, cosy and great ambiance!
Bit far away from the centre

Anonymous,

Very clean and comfortable.
Instead of the chair in the front room maybe another sofa so there was space for all 4 to sit comfortably. More plug sockets in bedroom near the mirror......it’s a girl thing! 😁

Kelly,

Beautiful apartment nicely hidden and close to Bath town only a 10min drive
Beautiful apartment perfect for a stay in Bath The view from the apartment is also amazing

Jas,

Well fitted out kitchen with plenty of plates, pans and utensils. Efficient oven and good TV with sound bar. Bedrooms were very comfortable and the beds themselves were excellent - one of the party said it was the most comfortable sleep ever. The annexe is on two levels with a spiral staircase up to the bedrooms and stairs down to the bathroom - could be challenging for the less mobile.

Simon,

A fantastic space with wonderful views, very stylish and a great place to spend time. Thank you for having us.

Joseph,

Nigel was a very helpful host. The property was clean and tidy with some lovely features. The property was a little difficult to find in the dark however it was well worth the find. Thank you again.

Lyndsey,

Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely come back, it is a unique property.
Views and location and quietness.presentation excellent on arrival. Husband and brother-in-law found beds comfortable. Kitchen facilities and quality of chinaware really nice. Heating was really good. Parking good.
Was a bit surprised at toilet and bathroom down another flight of stairs, as didn’t realise. But partially sighted husband did manage spiral &other staircase well after initial assistance. I wasn’t able to sleep in the bed with my husband as due to my husbands illness he snores really badly, so I brought a camping mattress and slept on the landing.I know it sleeps 4, but if it had a sofa bed it would of been more comfortable for me. Towel rail in bathroom doesn’t work and couldn’t get it to come on. Also no microwave in kitchen.

Ruth,

The view is fantastic from the bedroom especially. The check in was faultless and the accommodation and amenities of a very good standard.

Carl,

Found it to be an excellent hygge place to stay and close to Bath. Will definitely come back.

Found it to be an excellent hygge place to stay and close to Bath. Will definitely come back.,

Beautiful property with everything you need for a relaxing stay.
Absolutely wonderful stay, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. We all throughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely book again. Loved it!
Super King bed mattress was a little too soft and a shame that we have to go up and then down again for the bathroom! But we got used to it!

Claire,

Beautiful place in a lovely location. Very helpful hosts.

Anonymous,

Luxury cottage with a view and lovely fire within easy reach of Bath
Loved the log burner so nice to have a cosy night in with!
Bed was a little soft for me but I guess that is just personal preference

Jane,

Fabulous views, homely, spacious and cosy. Very easy access to Bath. Faultless

Fiona,

Nigel helped us out when others wouldn't. My husband and daughter were working in the area last minute and as usual we came up against problems with hosts not wanting workers within our industry to stay in their properties, Thanks again Nigel. Reports back were that the cottage was lovely inside and out and great location to the golf course we were working at. Will definitely consider using again if in the area.

Dawn,

Great period property really well presented with lovely views over the countryside.
The property was just lovely really well presented and just different because of its character and history. Really private location with great views. Definitely value for money.

Claire,

Wish we could have stayed longer!
The property is fantastic with a wonderful view. The rooms are a good size with very comfy beds and everything is clean and modern but still holds a certain country charm. I was also really impressed with the amount of information that was provided to help make the most of our stay, the arrival instructions may seem a bit daunting at first but super simple once you arrive.
The annexe is no more than a 10 minute taxi ride into the centre of Bath, however if you were to go for a walk to a local pub (there's a lovely one called The Old Crown) you will need to jump in a car.

Leah,

It was clean, spacious, in a lovely location & had a gorgeous view. We hope to return

Natasha,

This was a really unique place to stay, it felt very historic but had all the modern comforts. The upstairs is only accessible via the little spiral staircase pictured so it's worth bearing that in mind if you aren't keen on that sort of thing, but I really loved it! The views are beautiful, overlooking the hills and a little stream just below the property. It felt very peaceful.

Jo,

We loved the cosy fire with lots of logs available. Super comfy beds and pillows.

Leesa,

A beautiful house with fantastic views. The annexe has top quality furnishings and equipment throughout and a real luxury feel. Nigel was the best kind of host, available and helpful whilst allowing us space to enjoy the Annexe.

Angie,

We had a great night with great views
We loved the coal burner so cosy
It was all great but we would have liked a microwave for quickness sometimes

Lesley,

Idyllic
Extremely comfortable beds, super views and lovely atmosphere. Top class equipment, everything you needed. Hosts could not have been more helpful.
Loo and bathroom was upstairs and then downstairs, not so great for older guests who need to go a lot, ahem.

Katy,

Very nice apartment ,home sweet home
Location is a little bit difficult to find

Chor Kiu,

The Annexe is in a lovely location and most comfortable to live in. Beds were perfect and kitchen great for self catering. The place was very clean and bright. Nigel's warm welcome was appreciated and very quick to respond to questions. The information package was helpful to find the the place, history of the property and things to do in Bath. We loved it!

Rosalind,

a lovely venue for a lovely city stay
Bed was 10 out of 10 for comfort and view from garden was excellent information pack was also full of important information
having to walk distance and stairs x 2 ro the toilet from the lounge was a drag but the rest of the house more than made up for it.

Anthony,

We had a great time at your place; ideally located and very well maintained. Excellent value for money

Ishan & Deepa,

Hermos,

Beautiful bedrooms, well equipped kitchen, and great views from the windows
If you arrive at night after dark, it is difficult to find the place. The stairs to the bedrooms on the upper floor is narrow and may be a problem for an elderly person.

Fajs,

Gorgeous place, quiet and secluded. Good quality interior and handy for Bath
lovely property, great view, good quality decor and furnishing, friendly helpful host, very handy for centre of Bath
only access to bedrooms and bathroom is via a metal spiral staircase so could be an issue for those with restricted mobility

Jo,

A beautiful quiet location with lovely views
A lovely quiet location with a gorgeous open view over the valley. We were only here for one night but totally enjoyed our quick visit. Fully equipped kitchen was a bonus as we went to Tesco's not far away and cooked dinner. We also made use of the washer and dryer as we had been travelling for a week by this stage, was good to restock with clean clothes.
It was a bit of a trek if in the kitchen/lounge area to get to the bathroom.... ie up stairs to bedroom areas, down the hallway then back down another set of stairs to the bathroom. Got a nice little bit of exercise though so wasn't too much bother.

Karen,

I want to go back there already! Everything was absolutely gorgeous.
Breathtaking views! Super comfy bed!

Andreia,

Good choice for a group of four
The house is neat and clean. The host is very helpful. Kitchen facilities are modern and in good conditions. The environment is beautiful and quiet.
The direction sign to the property is difficult to see. The host is suggested to erect a big "Victorian Annexe" directional sign at the junction of the road.

Sammy,

The place is gorgeous and Nigel was a great host when us three ladies arrived late after a Literature Festival and were completely disorganised. Thanks to Nigel we had a cuppa before bedtime and he went the extra mile by providing a blow up bed when we realised we had not booked enough bedrooms for the first night! Only worry was the steps down to the annexe. Outside steps some with gravelling and no handrail. It was after dark and there was no lighting. NIgel did guide us down and help with one of the bags - the next night we used the torch on our phones which helped. Not suitable for anyone really old or with mobility problems. The annexe is hidden behind a large stone wall which makes it very private, and the view is stunning. Ideal for a romantic weekend I would I would say or 2 couples.

June,

Beautiful accommodation, with fantastic scenic views. Well equipped throughout, and great communication from Nigel when I booked at quite short notice.

John,

Wonderful property and friendly hosts.
The property is quite private and a binder on the main coffee table has a historical brief on the origins of the site. Part of being private also makes for finding the property slightly challenging. Do your homework before you roll into Bath; the hosts send detailed instructions to assist.
The spiral staircase, while beautiful is a challenge for older folks to traverse, especially with luggage.

Intaglio,

Fantastic place to stay, Views are excellent and situated in a lovely quiet area with easy access to Bath itself. Everything about the annex is excellent just what you need to make your stay comfortable. Everything is provided so all you need to do is check in and enjoy your stay. Would certainly reccomend the annex to anyone wanting to make their stay in Bath perfect.

Chris & Sandra,

Luxurious stay in a wonderful city
The beds was so comfy the quality of all amenities was 5 star, there was everything you needed if you wanted to stay in and cook
The spiral staircase hurt your feet a bit

Simon,

Perfect base to explore Bath and the surrounding countryside. The apartment has everything you could wish for to enjoy a lovely stay.

Debbie,

Nigel's great. Relaxed, helpful and the place is great!

Tom,

Can't find a single fault with our stay. Such a lovely home

Jonathan,

The place has the best view! Nigel was an amazing host, and even gave us a lift into town. Will definitely recommend!

Peter,

Nigel's flat is immaculate and extremely well equipped to a very high standard. It is in a beautiful location a couple of miles outside Bath with views of the countryside but only 10 mins into the centre. The house is just as pictured, very clean and gorgeous beds and woodburner. We had a very relaxing time enjoying everything Bath had to offer and then escaping back to the countryside.

Kate,

The stay was excellent. We were made to feel very welcome at the location.

The view from the rooms is excellent.

Nigel couldn't do enough for us. He even gave us a lift into the city which was really kind.

We cannot fault the stay.

Scott,

This is a really nice place with plenty of space and all mod cons. Nigel is very communicative and for me the location is ideal. The information pack is very comprehensive including the history of the annexe.
I will be using this place again.

Lawrence,

We had a lovely time at this beautiful annexe with its amazing location, perfect for our exciting hot air balloon ride! All amenities were available and everything was in immaculate condition. Thanks to Nigel for being so accommodating and hospitable.

Omar,

Nigel was kind and friendly when I couldn't find the way to get there he gave me a hand kindly. He is perfect as a host and the house is jolly good as well! Clean, comfortable, various cookers, you will definitely enjoy with this place.

지연,

Absolutely fantastic. The best review I can leave is the assurance that we'll be calling Nigel and booking again!

Richard,

We had a lovely weekend staying in the annexe. It was perfect for us-beautiful scenery and walks but close enough to the city centre for a night out! Nigel was really helpful in the run up to our stay and while we were there. We'd definitely recommend it and stay again!

Louise,

A wonderful home from home.. Beautiful period features, mixed perfectly with luxury technology and appliances.. Warm, spacious, comfortable with great access to Bath. Collected keys on arrival, and left alone to enjoy. Extra logs supplied for the log burner - truly wonderful stay! Will definitely stay again!

Tom,

Beautiful house in an amazing location, a short drive from the city centre.

Patrick,

Fantastic stay. All the amenities you could want and a log burning fire :) Nigel was very accommodating and the location of the property was very close to the town centre. Would recommend.

Tan,

Nigel is very friendly host. House looks much better than on photos. Beautiful house in a very quiet area. Amazing views and nature. Inside house is very warm and makes you feel as home. Also by car it is only 5 min to city centre . Nice and warm memories. Definitely will come back!

Tanya,

Nigel was really helpful in the lead up to our stay! The Annexe was in a great location and was just as described. Highly Recommend!

Alix,

We stayed here for one night over the easter weekend. It was a lovely place to stay for a night or two with some friends. We had a lovely time and made full use of the facilities including a beautiful log fire. Nigel was a great host and left us too our stay. Thanks for having us and we will see you again soon!!

Polly,

Lovely place, nice location for visiting the centre. Really comfortable and Nigel is very welcoming!

Leo,

What a beautiful place to stay and explore Bath from!

The Annexe was clean and tidy with excellent decor and views over the river below. With a space to park as well and only a short cab journey into town it made it the perfect location.

Nigel and his family made us feel very welcome and I would definitely recommend to anyone for a break away. We are even talking about making it an annual girls' weekend away!

Rebecca,

Nigel was our host at the Victorian annexe & was very responsive to questions prior to our arrival. He sent some fab directions which got us straight to the property. Beautiful house with the annexe accommodation next to it, stunning panoramic views of the hills around Bath. The annexe was immaculately clean, with a great bathroom, kitchen, fantastic lounge / kitchen with woodburner (which we made use of, although annexe lovely & warm with the central heating). Beautiful huge sash Windows throughout to frame the views. Two good size bedrooms, one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in!
Nigel was even kind enough to drop us into bath on the morning of the half marathon we were running.

Although the property is outside bath, there are buses and it didn't feel too far to get a taxi / drive and park.

Thank you so much to Nigel and his family, would recommend to any of our family & friends wholeheartedly.

Rebecca,

Our welcoming host Nigel greeted us at the gate when we arrived. He gave us the grand tour of his beautiful property, including his adorable ginger pigs. He was also kind enough to give us a lift into Bath and provided us with local tips. The house was perfect for a weekend getaway and the fire and countryside views made it all the more relaxing. We loved our time in Bath and would stay with Nigel again

Alice,

Great host, great place. Loved the roaring fire. Quite hard to find but you're given good instructions and if you follow them you'll have no problem!

Helen,

Nigel was a really good host. He provided us with a list of things to do in Bath which we took on board and had an amazing time. As this was my first experience of AirBnB it was a very enjoyable experience and it was made even better with an amazing place to stay with the relaxing surroundings and amazing views. It was a great breakaway and i would happily stay there again if when i visit Bath again.

Ravi,

Nigel is a great host, met my expectations, was very helpful and responded promptly every time. His home is unique and charming and the views are absolutely stunning, most unexpected, pictures simply cannot do it justice. Great escape for us from metropolis and we definitely want to come back for another visit. We love what has been done with the space, minimalist, clean lines, all makes for a very peaceful environment with positive energy. Comfy beds, huge bathroom. Was only here for one night, so could not make most of log fire and did not really use kitchen area. But kitchen is well thought out and in tune with the rest of the property. Annexe very close to centre of bath as described, more or less one road about 5 mins by car.

Almira

Absolutely lovely place to stay. Hosts are fantastic and have thought of everything you might possibly need on your stay. Thought we may have had to make do and have our celebratory bubbly from standard glasses but they even had champagne flutes to our surprise. The log fire is stunning but unfortunately we were only there for one night so did not get to enjoy it as much as we had hoped. Very comfy beds and very spacious rooms. Nigel is very quick at replying to queries and really helpful. Wouldn’t hesitate at booking another stay there, in fact would definitely look forward to it as Bath is a fab city to visit.

Kate

Rebecca

The Annexe was perfect for our Bath getaway. It is surrounded by beautiful countryside with great views from both bedrooms. The living room was great for relaxing at night especially as Nigel had lit a roaring fire for us. The kitchen is very well stocked it you wanted to cook and we especially like the home made jam left for us. Nigel was extremely friendly and even gave us a lift in his car to the town in the afternoon. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again or recommend to friends.

Pia

Nigel was a perfect host. He was there to meet us and show me how to set up a lovely fire most importantly. The annexe is wonderful. Much bigger than the photo looks. There is everything there to make it a home from home experience (although with much better cooking utensils!) but just a stones throw from the wonderful city of Bath. It was quiet and Nigel was great in his flexibility and making sure us girls had a great time. 3 of us stayed, 5 of us enjoyed a reunion there and I’m sure all 5 of us will be booking up the Annexe again.

Sam

A wonderful villa with valley view and high-quality equipment in side. We had a problem to find the apartment at first but Nigel direct us and helped us to find the access. But this incidence impressed us more about the unique place. So please do contact Nigel and get to know how to find the access before arriving. Great experience anyway!

Angel
